Herbology Center at JOALI BEING
HerbaFarm Academy provided consultancy to a well known Wellbeing Retreat in Maldives in creating Aktar – a Herbology Center.
Joali Being is the first nature immersive wellbeing retreat island in the Maldives, offering finest wellbeing facilities and unique transformational spaces, offering hydrotherapy, movement, and sound healing experiences.
AKTAR is Joali Being’s herbology center, inspired by the rich heritage of healing through the power of herbs. Guests can address concerns around Mind, Skin, Microbiome and Energy with the resident herbalist who specializes in preparing natural remedies using herbs, spices and essential oils.
With a curated library and a calendar of interactive workshops designed and developed by HerbaFarm Academy, guests can discover the benefits of herbal teas and attend workshops to learn how to make natural body creams, face masks and massage oils.

Visitors to HerbaFarm will have options for overnight stays in ecologic bungalows located in our organic farm and stroll around the gardens with fruit trees including carob, olive, fig, pomegranate, lemon, grapefruit, tangerine, orange, apricot, banana, mulberry, as well as aromatic and medicinal herbs such as sage, thyme, lavender, helichrysum, peppermint, rosemary, laurel, st john’s wort, etc.
Our friendly residents, freely wandering around likes of geese, ducks and hens are always anxious to meet visitors!
